Privacy Policy

Let's keep it simple. We collect the following information:

• Your email address (so that you can login from multiple devices)
• Your recent purchases from your online grocery store (to make it easier to buy again)
• Groups of items (your shopping list), in categories you put those items in.
• What you plan to cook this week.

To allow you to search your local store, we also collect and store:

• The access token issued by your grocery store, which allows the app to place items in your grocery cart.

We do NOT:

• Store your grocery store login information (although we'll prompt you to enter it to get an acces token and retrieve recent purchases
• Store any details about which items you buy or how often, beyond a list of items you've marked as favorites or imported, without information about purchase frequency.
• Have access to your current shopping cart or past orders, beyond what you specifically access in the import tool
• Store any payment information or make any purchases for you. (We'll send you to the store's website to checkout.)
• Sell your information. Ever.

For the app to function, we do need:

• Camera access (for the barcode scanner only). Images are never stored.
• You to authenticate with your local grocery store, so that we can search and add to the cart on your behalf.
• Access to the internet. The app communicates with your grocery store's server (to search for items and load your cat).
• The app also stores your lists in the cloud, to make it easier for you to share them. Your lists are password protected.
